Office opening 4a

We opened the doors to our new Nottingham HQ at NG2 Business Park yesterday, with Nottingham Rugby Club player and local lad, Josh Poullet, doing the honours.

Founded in 2001, we're one of Nottingham's first digital agencies and are proud to call the city our home. Having had roots in Nottingham's Creative Quarter for the best part of two decades, we've moved into new premises to support our growth plans and lay the foundations for our hybrid working model.

We’ve always had a flexible, work from anywhere policy so adapting to the enforced remote working when the pandemic hit last year wasn’t too difficult.

Having said that, our team has missed those classic water cooler moments and so it became clear that a hybrid working model better suits our business which is one of the reasons why we’ve moved to NG2 Business Park.

Our studio has been designed to support face-to-face collaboration with light, airy spaces where our team can come together to do their best work and feel safe while they’re here. And the space is flexible to allow for expansion as our team grows and we welcome back our clients for face-to-face meetings - something that's been sorely missed over the last 18 months.

We were delighted that Josh Poullet and Nottingham Rugby could join us and kick off the celebrations.

Nottingham Rugby Club is a rugby union club based in Nottingham, England. The club's first team currently plays in the RFU Championship, the second tier of English Rugby.

The first XV are nicknamed the Green & Whites, in reference to the club's kit. Now situated in the Lady Bay area of Nottingham, the club was formerly based at Meadow Lane, the home ground of Notts County F.C. The club previously played at Ireland Avenue in Beeston until the end of the 2005–06 season.

Josh Poullet with Greg Bloor and the obligatory red ribbon!

Greg Bloor, our CEO, had this to say,

"Having supported Nottingham Rugby for many years means they feel part of the Distinction story, so it seemed natural to ask them to come and be part of this new chapter for us. Josh Poullet is a Nottingham lad like me so it’s wonderful to have homegrown talent here to help us celebrate."

Steve Smith, COO of Nottingham Rugby, said,

"Distinction has been an excellent partner and sponsor to the club for many years now. They have supported us massively through the creation of a new website, as a sponsor, whilst also supporting our marketing strategy. It has been brilliant to be able to host Distinction at The Bay for various team building and training days.“
